Spring! FINALLY!

SPRING is HERE!!

FINALLY

The snow is long gone, flowers are blooming, the bunnies are all turned brown, the trees are all green.

Hockey and Basketball are almost over.

Do You know what that means?

It means it is ALMOST football season! The CFL is starting soon!

Rookie camp starts tomorrow, training camp starts sunday. In one short month we will be on our way home for the season opener!!!

Sexy Date Night

So Alex and I FINALLY have a 'weekend' off together.

Yesterday we slept in WAY too late!

ate breakfast together, got ready and off we went on our sexy date night!!

First we went to see the movie 'The Bridesmaids'

Now, let me tell you something. I had very high expectations going into this movie(not because I thought it would be good. But because I had heard from so many people that is was hilarious from start to finish.)

I was unfortunately disappointed when we left the theatre.

It WAS funny. Not as funny as everybody has been saying.

So my suggestion. If ya'll plan on seeing this movie. Go on Tuesday! Or wait to rent it.

All-in-all I would give it a B- or 3stars

After the movie we went to the

for dinner. The line was long for a Wednesday night! (we waited about 30-40minutes)

Although we did have Twitter to keep us busy!

So we waited then finally got a table. Ordered our food(we shared the Taste of Italy and it was way too much for the both of us after we had a starter and a salad.)

Now here again. Let me ask Why do SO many people LOVE the Olive Garden? I mean sure the food is good. But I don't think it is THAT good. If you ask me East Side Marios is much better! Better salad, better bread, better food, better prices.

So after dinner we made our way over to The Republik to see Hayes Carll. He was pretty good! Alex of course has seen him 2 times before and was in love with him. Last night was the first time I saw him. He was pretty good if you ask me! I dig his voice. ha ha once again I wouldn't have brought a kid to THAT specific show. (that is only cause it was in a bar though!)

TODAY is 'Sunday' for us. We slept in again :) Alex made us breakfast now we are watching as many episodes of Lost as we possibly can!!

Well?...

So I was talking with the Korean girl that I work with.

We were talking about how different Canadian and Korean cultures are and all that fun junk..

I was asking her about becoming a Canadian citizen and how you go about doing and how long it takes.. She told me all about it, and all about the test you have to take. All the crazy questions that are on the test! I said that I bet not many Canadians would do very good at that test...

So what did I do tonight you might ask?

That's right kids! I took a 'practice' Canadian Citizenship exam.

I would like to invite all You Canadians to do this test and see how well you know your country!!

Alex and I both did it. I got 70% and Alex got 75% (You need 75% to pass)

Turns out I am not a very knowledgeable Canadian!

I feel like Love is such a common word though, for such an uncommon emotion.

I love my family, I love the beach, I love movies, music, back rubs, parrot bay rum. I also love puppies and flowers and reading...

But above anything else in the world I LOVE Alex Dormuth!

 I feel like it is unfair to tell that man of my dreams that I love him. Not because I don't want to say it... But I feel like the word Love does not do justice the feelings that I have. Not that, that will stop me. Cause let me tell you I tell this man that I love him about 47 times a day!! and I don't plan on stopping any time soon...

In my opinion one can NEVER overuse the words "I Love You."

Kid Rock

My lovely Husband and I went on a date last night to the Kid Rock concert. If ANY other person in the world had asked me to go to a Kid Rock concert I would have told them to go right to Hell!! However, I love my Husband dearly and he really wanted to go (he also paid for the tickets! So that helped!)

Well let me tell you! Kid Rock was actually pretty good! The dude is 40! Did ya'll know that?? I know now this is why he has a song called 'Fucking Forty' Hmmm Go figure eh!?

So this 'old' dude can rock! Man I am 27 and I can't even shake my ass like that! So needless to say I was impressed! That is not to say that I will run off and buy tickets to the next concert... However I'd give him a solid 2 thumbs up for sheer entertainment value.

That being said... Let me suggest that if you ever do go see him. Please leave your children at home!!!! We saw at least 15 kids under the age of 16 there. Now normally I am not opposed to taking kids to concerts. EXCEPT when it is a rock concert. Now let me just tell you the reasons why one should leave their 'babies' at home:

1. People were smoking a lot of weed there.

2. 85% of the people there were drinking rather heavily.

3. There are naked ladies on the video screen.

4. There are pole dancers on the stage.

5. Lets just say there are plenty of Profanities used!

I'd say he looks pretty good for a 40 year old though... ha ha.. yeah I just said that.. Don't judge me. Kay? Please? ? ? lol

But all in all I had a great date with my handsom husband!! Thanks for a good night babe!!!
